Do you have several unfinished works in your studio? The piece is almost done but you just can’t figure out what it still needs to look complete? Or maybe your questions are in the beginning stages… what makes a good composition? Should the image be cropped? If this sounds familiar, then this class is perfect for you. It is intended for artists who are working on personal projects looking for feedback and advice.
Portraiture, figurative works, still life, and landscape are all topics open for critiques in this class. We will have discussions on composition, design, color, and values in addition to drawing skills and mediums as they arise in the works that are shown in class. Students will submit their work via text to the instructor who will then be able to show on screen for the class to see. Students will have time to work during the class period to implement the suggestions that were discussed to ensure they are back on the right track. Intermediate/Advanced level
