Our support for Atelier students goes far beyond the walls of the studio. We are always excited to celebrate the success of our students. Lisa submitted three paintings that she did at the studio, all three were accepted into the prestigious Biophilia exhibition as part or the Detroit Month of design.

Biophilia: Love of Life is an exhibition, juried by designer Franc Nunoo-Quarcoo, that explores our innate instinct to connect with nature, living entities, and systems, and to cultivate our shared responsibility for our collective wellbeing, and the health and healing of the environment.

The exhibition, which is part of Detroit’s Month of Design, is comprised of digital prints and video. The reception is on Sept. 10, from 5-7 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. Awards will be announced at the reception. The exhibition is on view through Nov. 14.

Lisa will be selling prints in the gift shop.
